Butkov Remodeling delivers full-service bathroom remodeling across the Twin Cities west metro, from first-day demo to final walkthrough. Every project is personally led by John Butkov, a licensed Minnesota residential building contractor with hands-on experience across hundreds of bathroom renovations. Whether your goal is a complete gut renovation, a tub-to-shower conversion, or a targeted fixture and vanity upgrade, our crew handles every trade under one roof. Plumbing, electrical, tile, drywall, fixtures, and finishing — one team, one point of contact, zero runaround. We also partner with Synchrony to offer financing options on larger projects, so your budget does not have to limit your vision.
Four steps from first conversation to handing you the keys to a finished space.
We visit your home, inspect the existing plumbing, electrical, and ventilation, and talk through your vision for the space. You get honest answers about scope, materials, and cost. No sales pitch, no obligation, just a real conversation about what is possible.
Within a few days of your consultation, you receive a written scope of work with line-item pricing for every phase of the project. Materials, labor, fixtures, and finishing are all accounted for. You know exactly what you are paying for before any work begins.
Work starts on the date we agreed to. John is on site leading the crew through demolition, rough-in, tile installation, fixture setting, and finishing. We protect your home during construction and clean up at the end of every single day. Most bathroom remodels are completed in three to five weeks.
When the work is done, we walk every inch of the project together. Every tile edge, every fixture, every detail. If anything does not meet your expectations, we address it before we call the job complete. You do not sign off until you are satisfied.

Materials and FixturesWe work with homeowners to select materials that match their style and budget. For fixtures, we install all major brands and can source specialty items based on your design preferences. If you already have materials selected, we are happy to work with what you have chosen.
Bathroom Remodeling TimelineMost full bathroom remodels are completed in three to five weeks. Simpler cosmetic updates such as vanity swaps, fixture changes, and paint can be finished faster. Larger projects involving structural changes, plumbing relocation, or custom tile work may take longer. During your consultation, we provide a detailed project timeline specific to your scope of work.
